Known for its strong connection to Oberlin College and its rich history, this gem of Lorain County is located just 35 miles southwest of Cleveland.

Oberlin was the first college in America to adopt a policy to admit black students (1835) and the first to grant bachelor's degrees to women (1841) in a coeducational program.
