ABOUT
OBERLIN

Founded in 1833, Oberlin Ohio is a small city with a population of around 8,600.
Known for its strong connection to Oberlin College and its rich history, this gem of Lorain County is located just 35 miles southwest of Cleveland.
Oberlin is celebrated as a place of creativity, a vibrant arts scene and a passion for inclusivity and kindness.
Oberlin was the first college in America to adopt a policy to admit black students (1835) and the first to grant bachelor's degrees to women (1841) in a coeducational program.

Oberlin is proud to welcome it’s first all electric, FREE bus service to our community. This service currently runs Monday through Friday from 10am-8pm with 20 specific stops throughout our city.
